Platinum-selling recording artist Akon performed live last night at The Bank Nightclub at Bellagio for an excited crowd of Sunday night party-goers, belting out tracks like “Smack That” and his collaboration hit with David Guetta, “Sexy Bitch.”
It was a packed house at The Bank’s industry party, filled with guests still celebrating the new year. The crowd included members of the band Foster The People and actor Emile Hirsch as well as singing sensation Bruno Mars, who had performed an extraordinary set of cover songs with a nine-piece band on New Year’s Eve at The Bank.
Around 8:30 p.m., Lauren Conrad enjoyed a few drinks and dinner prepared specially by chef Akira Back at Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge at Bellagio. Dressed to the nines, Conrad and six of her friends feasted on the popular tuna pizza, lobster carpaccio, Yellowtail tataki and Kobe tataki, among other entrees, and finished their meal with desert, including the lava cake and mochi ice cream. After a very casual dinner, Conrad and her friends headed out on the town in Sin City around 11 p.m.
On Saturday night, Sofia Vergara enjoyed dinner and drinks at Fix Restaurant & Lounge at Bellagio with 20 of her closest friends, including “Modern Family” co-star Eric Stonestreet. Vergara, wearing s sequined top and sexy skirt, enjoyed several of Fix’s popular dishes including the spicy tuna, wings, sliders and mac and cheese, along with several specialty cocktails including the Raspberry Sin and the Strawberry Aviation.
Following dinner, around 10:30 p.m., her and her crew headed to Vergara’s hosting gig at Hyde, but not before a quick outfit change.
