During the winter months, New Yorkers typically fly south to Miami to escape the cold. This month, however, roles were reversed and some of Miami’s most notable social figures (including David Grutman and Nicola Siervo) traveled north to New York City for an extra special event. For the first time in music and garden history, a trio of DJ/producers sold out Madison Square Garden (and in just nine minutes).
This worldwide sensation is also known as Swedish House Mafia, and includes producers Steve Angelo, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso. The event brought house music aficionados from around the world together in the legendary Madison Square Garden space for an evening of celebration that lasted until the wee hours of the morning. Once the concert came to a close, the party continued at the Provocateur pop-up lounge at the Roseland Ballroom.
