French Week Miami is a time of year when the city celebrates the presence of French culture in the community, as well as its contribution in making Miami as diverse as it is. In it’s fourth year, French Week Miami will be held from November 3-23, and includes a solo exhibition by famed French artist, Laurent Grasso.
In his new exhibit, entitled Laurent Grasso: Portrait of a Young Man, Grasso creates a series of displays that combine artistic perspectives from the past and present. The artist held a grand opening reception for his exhibition this month, where guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres by A la Folie Café, and previewed his assortment of paintings, sculptures, videos and neons.
The exhibition will be on display during Art Basel, and will run through February 12, 2012.
