Gaia Retreat & Spa, New South Wales, Australia
Co-owned by Olivia Newton-John, Gaia Retreat and Spa is a holistic hot spot that offers therapeutic spa treatments, a saltwater swimming pool and daily yoga classes. At the Samira Lookout, the highest point on the property, guests can enjoy some quiet meditation.
Mission Ranch Resort, Carmel
Owned by Clint Eastwood, Mission Ranch Resort is a great place to soak up some country and western style in the ranch-inspired rooms, all of which come with patchwork quilts and quaint rocking chairs. Each lodge is decked out with modern amenities on the inside, including whirlpool tubs and fireplaces.
Greenwich Hotel, New York
Owned by Robert De Niro (and frequented by Mel Gibson), the Greenwich Hotel is located in the trendy TriBeCa neighborhood of Lower Manhattan. It is a stylish hotel that features a Parisian courtyard and a drawing room where Mel Gibson is known to visit for a cup of coffee.
Palazzo Versace, Australia
The brainchild of Donatella Versace, Palazzo Versace is an old fashioned resort with Ancient Rome styling and plenty of luxury. There are 200 rooms and suites on property, all of which include bespoke furnishings, plush parquet floors and floor to ceiling windows. Rooms go for around £300 a night, and that include complimentary Versace perfume. There is also a resort spa where guests can indulge in a therapeutic massage among other treatments.
Bedford Post Inn, New York
Owned by Richard Gere and his wife, Carrie Lowell, the Bedford Post Inn is all about peace, love and lots of yoga (Gere is a devout Buddhist). The Inn is located in the heart of Westchester County in Bedford and features a yoga studio and two star-quality restaurants. Guests are invited to a complimentary yoga class upon arrival in addition to a wine and cheese cocktail house from 4-5 p.m. every weekend.
No. 11 Cadogan Gardens, London
Co-owned by Liz Hurley, this lavish hotel is located in upmarket Knightsbridge and features 60 luxurious rooms and suites. Each room is decked out with Victorian furnishings, en-suite bathrooms and plasma screen TVs. There is traditional afternoon tea at nearby Berkeley hotel and plenty of shopping available at Harrods.
