Haute Event: Kaskade Named America’s Best DJ by DJ Times; Marquee Dayclub Closes the Season with DJ Dirty South

Kaskade was voted America's Best DJ. Here, he spins at Marquee during the celebration.

Marquee Dayclub closed out a successful first season on Sunday at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas by treating pool goers to a free show by DJ Dirty South. Pitbull was spotted checking out the scene.

The giving continued later Sunday night when Marquee opened especially for the night with free Marquee entry for all in celebration of Kaskade, who was named America’s Best DJ by DJ Times Magazine. Kaskade accepted his awards, a plaque from the magazine and a gold-plated mixer from Pioneer, in The Library at Marquee with last year’s winner and this year’ third place recipient Z-Trip.

Kaskade joined the deejay line up of Jason Lema and Scotty Boy, fitting in a one-hour set for his fans and was surprised with a cake.

In addition to Z Trip, deejays Erick Morillo and EDX were also in the club for the celebration.

LMFAO also came by and treated the crowd to a bit of their Party Rock experience, warming them up for the Party Rock Mondays with an impromptu set after first dining at Lavo at the Palazzo and entertaining club goers there for Vice Sundays.
