Construction Underway For World’s Most Expensive Building
Construction on the Yongsan Landmark Tower, a 100-story tower in Seoul, South Korea has officially started. The tower, designed by world-renowned architect Renzo Piano is expected to be the most expensive building ever built, per square foot.
Costing a whopping $3.43 billion total, each square foot will cost around $293, compared to $279 per square foot for the Burj Khalifa, which is currently the tallest building in the world.
Another interesting note, once completed, it will feature what are rumored to be the world’s fastest elevators.
