The Only Watch auction will take place on September 23 but the U.S. will get to preview the unique timepieces on September 9 in Los Angeles and September 12 in New York City.
The magnificent Only Watch auction is set to take place on September 23 at 4 p.m. in Monaco in the Salle Belle Epoque of the Hermitage Hotel. H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, who has supported the event since its creation will be in attendance.
Watch-lovers in the U.S. will be given the opportunity to preview the unique pieces set for auction during two preview events. The first will take place at Westime Beverly Hills in Los Angeles on September 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the second will be at Antiquorum Auctioneers at 595 Madison Ave. in New York City on September 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Forty leading luxury wristwatch manufacturers are donating unique pieces and one-of-a-kind watches for the event, which will donate 100% of the proceeds to combat Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
At auction, lots will include:
Lot 1: Audemars Piguet, “Jules Audemars“ for Only Watch Audemars Piguet, “Jules Audemars”, Gstaad Classic, Chronograph Automatic, Ref. 26563. Very fine and unique, self-winding, waterresistant, 18K pink gold wristwatch with round button chronograph, tachometer and an 18K gold Audemars Piguet deployant clasp. Accompanied by fitted box and Certificate.
Lot 2: Bell & Ross, “BR01 Casino” for Only Watch Bell & Ross, “BR01 Casino”. Very fine and unique, square, self-winding, waterresistant, PVD-coated and 18K pink gold wristwatch with a casino roulette wheel reproduced in the center of the watch, and an 18K pink gold Bell & Ross buckle. Accompanied by fitted box and Certificate.
Lot 3: Blancpain, “Villeret” for Only Watch Blancpain, 1735, “Villeret Grande Décoration”, unique piece. Very fine and unique, hand-winding, waterresistant at 3 bar wristwatch. Accompanied by fitted box and Certificate.
Lot 4: Bernhard Lederer Only Watch, Gagarin Platinum Flying Tourbillon Extremely fine, unique, platinum, water-resistant wristwatch celebrating the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s historic flight in space with 108-minute orbiting one-minute flying tourbillon, integral rotating magnifying glass, 18K gold hand-engraved map of the world dial with platinum buckle.
Lot 5: BOVET for Only Watch BOVET “Amadeo® Convertible 7-Day Tourbillon Dragon & Phoenix”. Extremely fine, unique, artisan engraved 18K red gold, double-dialed, convertible into a wristwatch, a table clock, a reversible timepiece and a pocket watch. Visible one-minute tourbillon, powerreserve indication, 18K red gold chain and a 18K red gold Bovet ardillon buckle. Accompanied by a BOVET fitted box and certificate.
