Yesterday I had the honor of attending a beautiful charity event for WIZO (The Women’s International Zionist Organization) at the Pierre Hotel in New York City. It was WIZO’s 14th annual Kid’s Spring Fashion Show and Luncheon and was hosted by Drazie Ashkenazy. WIZO is a nonprofit organization of volunteers in more than 50 countries working to support and operate more than 800 social welfare projects aiming to help improve the lives of women, children, and the elderly living in Israel.
All of the clothing for the fashion show was by Bonnie Young and all of the kids really strutted their stuff! There was also a raffle and a silent auction with gifts from Chanel, Intermix, Bonpoint, Lanvin, Christian Dior, Barneys, Garren New York, Valery Joseph Salon plus many more. The Grand Prize was a Hermès Birkin Bag and an iPad 2.
The event was done with the finest taste and more importantly raised a lot of money for such a wonderful cause.
