Haute Event: David Barton Hosts Diane’s Day at Vintner Grill Strip

David Barton, Dr. Laura Shawver and Suzy Molasky attend a luncheon honoring Diane's Day benefiting ovarian cancer research hosted by David Barton at Neiman Marcus.

David Barton, owner of DavidBartonGym, who recently announced a new outpost opening in Las Vegas in December 2011, hosted a  “A Very Fashionable Luncheon” on Tuesday afternoon along with The Clearity Foundation founder Dr. Laura Shawver, Suzy Molasky, Michelle Epstein and Cathy Seiff at the Vintner Grill Strip at Neiman Marcus at Fashion Show mall in Las Vegas to celebrate “Diane’s Day.” In an effort to raise funds and awareness for ovarian cancer throughout the month of September, DavidBartonGym hosted a fashion presentation and luncheon, with proceeds benefitting The Clearity Foundation. The luncheon’s festivities included a fashion and fitness preview featuring fitness tips from Barton that complimented Fall/Winter fashion trends, selected by Neiman Marcus.

DavidBartonGym, known for its unique blend of grit and glamour, will venture west this December when founder and owner David Barton unveils an eponymous Las Vegas gym in Tivoli Village (410 S. Rampart Blvd) that caters to residents aiming to LookBetterNaked. Located off the Strip in Summerlin, the new 35,000-square-foot outpost epitomizes the local lifestyle and will mark the brand’s ninth gym opening to date, since the first New York City gym opened in 1992.

Founded on David Barton’s premise to introduce the anti-establishment, anti-chain gym that’s equal parts body-transformation, equal parts theater, is strategically designed for both gym lovers and haters alike. The gym will house state-of-the-art equipment, four studios specifically designed for yoga, Pilates, group exercise and cycling, international deejays, endless amenities and a team of expertly trained staff, hand-picked by Barton. Group exercise classes will include Fear and Loathing, dedicated to the Vegas lifestyle, and gym signatures Pain and Pleasure, Junk, Barton Biking and Muscle Playground, all taught by the gym’s own private trainers.
