Looks like One Hyde Park has competition.  Chelsea’s new priciest digs? The Glebe.  With flats ranging from up to £35million or more, The Glebe will become London’s most expensive address to date. The new complex that will be on a plot covering one acre is close to the Thames and near the ritzy King’s Road. Apparently the piece of land was bought by a hedge fund for £85million, according to the London Evening Standard.  The complex will be walled, which is “very important to the super-rich,” according to Gary Hersham of Beauchamp Estates.  Norman Foster’s firm will design The Glebe, which will have the ultimate luxury apartments that each include individual swimming pools, private elevators and games rooms. If that wasn’t enough, residences have the opportunity the rent or buy one of the two villas, each quipped with an attached gatehouse. However, the Penthouse would be ideal for the sun worshipping type as the entire roof is an enormous terrace. And don’t be surprised if a single family scoops up this property.  According to Hersham, £30million to £40million is nothing of a loss for the billionaires most likely to check out the place.
