Restoration Hardware Unveils The Gallery At Beverly Boulevard

On June 27, premium home furnishings brand Restoration Hardware opened The Gallery at Beverly Boulevard in the heart of the Los Angeles design district. At 24,000 square feet, this 8772 Beverly Boulevard location is the largest and most dramatic expression of the brand to date.

12-foot-high gates mark the entrance to the 4,000-square-foot European garden courtyard that surrounds the gallery, which is bordered by a fresh floral boutique by renowned Los Angeles floral designer, Eddie Zaratsian. In the main gallery, guests enter an international bibliotheque where vintage maps from iconic cities from around the world are integrated with corresponding design magazines and books representing Restoration Hardware’s global design influence. The dramatic lobby, punctuated by America’s first organic tea atelier by Bellocq, has soaring 22-foot ceilings, walls of charcoal Belgian linen, and an installation of vintage birdcages reimagined as giant crystal chandeliers suspended from heavy rope. A classical arrangement of rooms punctuated by monumental fireplaces, salvaged architectural pieces, industrial antiques, and select items from Restoration’s fall 2011 collections can be found throughout the two floors beyond.

The Gallery at Beverly Boulevard—complete with valet parking service—can be reached at 310.652.0323 and is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm, and Sunday 12pm until 5pm.
