New SoBe Steakhouse, Kane, Hosts Birthday Celebration for Larsa Pippen

SoBe’s South of Fifth area has been booming for quite some time now. Luxury high-rises punctuate the strip, and fine dining establishments are sprinkled throughout. Recently, a new feasting alternative opened its doors, and it’s quickly becoming the place to see and be seen.

Kane Steakhouse, located at 431 Washington Avenue, is the brainchild of seasoned restaurateur Mathew Glazier, of such establishments as NYC’s Strip House; and nightlife giants Roman Jones and Justin Levine, of Mansion, Set, and Louis Bar-Lounge, among others. And it’s that melding of expertise that has created an experience that’s been on everyone’s lips since the doors’ opening.

The menu—which features steakhouse classics with an upscale twist—was created by on-the-rise culinary talent, Daniel Ganem. At a ripe 28 years old, Ganem has previously garnered experience at stellar steakhouses the likes of: Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak, Laurent Tourondel’s BLT Steak, and under world-renowned, Michelin starred chef, Martin Berasategui.

In fact, one of Miami’s favorite housewives, and Haute 100 member, Larsa Pippen, celebrated her birthday at Kane just yesterday evening. The stunning wife of basketball legend, Scottie Pippen, gave rave reviews: “The food was great, the atmosphere was amazing and the music…You feel like you had a great night of dining and going out without having to go to two different places.” A discerning member of the social scene, Pippen is one lovely lady whose advice we plan to heed.

And for those of you who are interested in the details of the Pippen fête, we can tell you that Larsa also enjoyed one of those majestic cake creations we love so much, courtesy of none other than Divine Delicacies, whose custom cakes you may recognize from our Haute 100 party pictures or from our coverage of the birthday celebrations of Lebron James, and Adrienne Williams.

Happy Birthday Larsa from your dear friends at Haute Living Magazine.
