LA’s Top Restaurant Group Does It Again

Innovative Dining Group, operator of seven of the most popular and successful restaurants in Los Angeles including Sushi Roku, BOA Steakhouse, Katana and Robata Bar, is raising the bar once again with it’s first foray into the Italian genre. IDG is known for creating bold, new versions of traditional concepts, and will take a similar approach with its newest addition set to open this winter 2011.

Some of IDG’s most recent concepts, modern California bistro Delphine, at the W Hollywood, and two adjacent lounges, Station Hollywood and the Living Room, have experienced the same scale of success as the company’s earlier restaurants, and we wouldn’t have expected any less. All of IDG’s venues reflect bold, modern interpretations of traditional concepts, reflective of the company’s dynamic partners. Lee Maen, Philip Cummins, and Craig Katz are thrilled to have found a prime space in Downtown Los Angeles, another first for IDG, to try their hand at a new cuisine.

The concept for their newest Figueroa St. and 8th St. location is a contemporary yet casual Italian trattoria, with menu details, design plans, and the name to be announced in the coming months. The anticipation is killing us all but with IDG backing it up, we know it will be worth the wait.
