IWC Schaffhausen partners with Bally for SS12 Menswear presentation

Bally hosted its Spring and Summer 2012 Menswear presentation in Milan on June 22, displaying its new partnership with IWC Schaffhausen.  The Bally collection, which is intended to capture the spirit of the “relaxed European lifestyle” of the 1950s, was paired with iconic pieces from IWC that reflect the same attitude, in particular pieces from the classically elegant Portofino collection. IWC was happy to enter the collaboration, which is also in celebration of Bally’s 160th anniversary.

The Bally collection, called ‘A Man for All Seasons’, is inspired by archive pieces from the era of the late 1950s and early 1960s, and features pieces that are light and comfortable with a yellow, red, blue and green palette.

This season also introduces visually striking, yet functional new bags and accessories in ultra-soft leathers, a new deck shoe range with new shapes materials and colors, and Sea Island cotton knitwear and soft blousons. From the vibrancy of the collection, to it’s overall effortless summer mood — it provides a distinctive feel of simple luxury.
