Saturday Ron Artest of the Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Baller’s Ball at Tao Beach and Tao at the Venetian in celebration of his new EP “Go Loco.” The NBA pro took over the grand cabana overlooking the pool party at Tao Beach yesterday afternoon. Artest served as emcee in the deejay booth with Jason Lema and treated the crowd to some songs with his new artist Taz.
Christopher Mintz-Plasse also spent his Saturday at Tao Beach. “McLovin” as he is best known enjoyed pitchers of mojitos with friends in a cabana.
The party continued Saturday night at Tao, with Artest dining at the Asian bistro on signature dishes before heading up to the nightclub. The packed club went wild when he made his entrance. Artest and friends took over a VIP table before heading to the deejay booth with DJ Eric D-Lux to perform “Go Loco” with his artist Taz.
Also spotted taking in the scene at Tao was Wally Szczerbiak. The former NBA pro was heard saying it was the best night of his trip and he plans to be back in July and August as well.
Nancy Shevell was spotted dining at Lavo at the Palazzo. The fiancée of Paul McCartney and friends enjoyed signature dishes from the Italian eatery.
