Catwalk by Scorpius Dance Theatre – May 19-21
Catwalk by Scorpius Dance Theatre is returning to Phoenix Theatre May 12-21, 2011, with shows every Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the two weeks. Staged on a runway, this original contemporary dance production fuses funky, local fashions, sexy athleticism and the distinct choreography of Lisa Starry.

Schnepf Farms Peach Festival – May 21-22
The 2011 Peach Festival at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek will take place May 14 & 15 and May 21 & 22 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy a peach pit spit and pie eating contest, celebrity chef demonstrations, train rides through the orchard and more.

Run Walk Shop Race at SanTan Village – May 21
The Inaugural Run, Walk, Shop Race, presented by Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, will take place Saturday, May 21 at SanTan Village in Gilbert. Participants can enjoy a 5K run or a 1 mile fun run with refreshments, awards and goody bags.

Silhouette at the Spring Wine and Jazz Festival – May 22
The Spring Wine and Jazz Festival wraps up Sunday, May 22, with the final live outdoor concert taking place 1 to 4 p.m., featuring R&B, Soul and Motown Band Silhouette at the el Pedregal Shops and Dining at the Boulders in Scottsdale.

Great Strides Walk at Tempe Beach Park – May 22
The 2011 Valley of the Sun Great Strides Walk, benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, will take place Sunday, May 22 at 8 a.m. at Tempe Beach Park. This walk is a fun, family-oriented celebration that includes a healthy walk, Kids’ Corner activities, food, and festivities.
