Logsdail London plans to celebrate its third anniversary in Dubai with The English Eccentrics Tea Party – a fitting tribute to the Logsdail style that has been favoured by Lords, Barons, Earls, Ambassadors, bankers, entrepreneurs and even the odd Hollywood film star. Logsdail London is known for celebrating individual eccentricity through subtle design twists combined with a small nod to current fashion trends.
At the heart of this famous Atelier is the eponymous Leonard Logsdail; born from a working class background in London, Logsdail cut his teeth at a very early age (19) catering to the tailoring needs of the elite at London’s famed Saville Row, eventually moving to New york, where he is now based. By learning that the customer’s idea needs to be realised, making adjustments here and there, the complete experience of having a bespoke suit is what keeps his clientele coming back time and time gain.
Logsdail London has also found success in Hollywood; the bespoke suits have been worn by Robert De Niro and Russell Crowe and have appeared in films like American Gangster and The Good Shepherd. Perhaps one of the biggest indications of the suit’s star power would be the appearance of Gordan Gekko wearing a Logsdail suit in Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps. A true sign that these suits are right at home in the world of the power player.
After opening their emporium three years ago in the Al Qoz district of Dubai, Logsdail plan to celebrate this milestone with the unveiling of their latest collection – The Gentleman’s Summer Travelling Wardrobe. The gem of the collection would be the revolutionary ‘Cool Effect’ by Ermenegildo Zegna. Spun from a finer wool, the fabric claims to keep wearers 10 degrees cooler than the outside temperature, a must for summertime in Dubai.
With temperatures now climbing above 40c degrees, Logsdail London is the perfect tonic for the suited and booted in Dubai.
