Milly by Michelle Smith Opens First Flagship Store on Madison Avenue
Milly by Michelle Smith is an iconic brand known for spectacular prints and colors, lavish fabrics and attention-to-detail. Refined and glamorous, her collections embody modern sensibility with a classic vibe, which creates timeless silhouettes with smart, sexy, feminine style that satisfies her ever-expanding customer base. This spring 2011 marks the tenth anniversary of Milly with several exciting new endeavors like the opening of Milly’s flagship boutique on Madison Avenue.
The newly opened 1,800-square-foot flagship store will include Milly’s flirty, party-friendly designs alongside the spring bridal collection and Mini Milly girl’s line, aspirant aged 2-7. In addition, she will also be carrying her newly launched handbag and fashion jewelry collections. Sure sounds like a prefect place to have a mother-daughter shopping date!
The space is believed to include mid-century contemporary décor as well as tons of art, and is likely the first of many stores to come in the near further, reports Smith and her business-partner husband, Andy Oshrin, to WWD, indicating that the cities ripest for expansion will include Boston, San Francisco, Palm Beach, Dallas and Atlanta.
