This summer, guests at Terranea Resort, L.A.’s premiere oceanfront resort, will be treated to a whole new set of fun family programs for kids of all ages. The resort, poised above the Pacific Ocean on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, boasts 582 rooms including a 360-room hotel with 32 suites, 20 bungalows, 50 oceanfront casitas, and 32 ocean view villas. Other amenities at Terranea include a 9-hole par 3 golf course, a 50,000-square-foot oceanfront spa, three unique swimming pools, including a children’s pool with a 140-foot slide.
New summer programming at Terranea includes a “Welcome to Terranea” scavenger hunt. Upon arrival, kids will receive a scavenger hunt map that leads them to different parts of the resort property. After receive a stamp for each discovered location, kids can redeem their map for prizes. Terranea will also have “Fun Hours,” where parents can leave the kids for an afternoon escape to the spa, to lunch, or the Cielo Point adults-only pool for $15 per hour.
Other featured family-friendly summer programs include the weeklong Techno-Tainment Camps, School Age Day Camps, Camp for Tikes, Early Risers Club, weeklong Golf and Adventure Camps, and the Teen Lounge.
