George the Salon is one of the best salons in the city! With a recently re-vamped interior and owned by George Gonzalez, The Spa at Harpo Studios’ stylist, you can’t go wrong. The service is a cut-above the rest (no pun intended) offering all the staple salon services including the much raved about “Brazillian Blowout” said to be the cure-all for those of us with the dreaded frizz issue.
George has been a hair stylist for 19 years and has styled many famous faces including those of Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo staff. You may recognize him from one of the many make-over pieces Oprah has done over the years. He is down to earth, so welcoming and makes you feel like you have met him many times before. In the near future he is looking to develop his very own hair product line that is sure to be a major hit among his loyal customers and newcomers just being introduced to the “George the Salon” brand.
