Haute Market: SoWa Open Market

Starting this month (the kick-off festival was May 1) and running through October, SoWa Open Market (460 Harrison Ave, Boston) will offer “…a shopping experience like no other in Boston,” according to its website.

Each Sunday, an ever-changing group of artisans will set up shop in an open-air market setting, hawking their trendy wares to throngs of people descending upon the South End neighborhood. Festival goers can peruse everything from hand-crafted accessories, designer clothing and fashion, original artwork, and more. Plus, the market affords the unique opportunity for the masses to meet the masters behind the work – be it painter, sculptor, or milliner – live and in-person!

Additionally, the SoWa Farmers Market (part of the open market on Sundays) serves as a center of activity for Boston-area foodies, providing a vast array of locally-grown and harvested produce and specialty food products from the New England area.

And if your stomach starts grumbling while you’re purchasing a fashionable outfit or a new sculpture for the entryway? Don’t fret. Gourmet food trucks will be on hand to cater to the shopping masses.

The market will be open on Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
