Haute Living: Poltrona Frau Celebrates Friends of NWS Season Finale

Miami’s New World Symphony performed its final show of the season at the Adrienne Arsht Center on Saturday, May 7. The group ended a spectacular season of music and the long-awaited inauguration of The New World Symphony Frank Gehry Campus with a fabulous party at Poltrona Frau in the heart of Miami’s Design District.

Poltrona Frau/Cappellini Miami, one of the city’s hottest Italian furniture design stores, sponsored the evening’s festivities which included a special performance by Russel Mofsky’s Gold Dust Lounge. Guests like Deco Drive’s Louis Aguirre, Stacey Glassman, Aaron Resnick, Dirk DeSouza and Dara Schoenwald grooved to the electrifying sounds and also enjoyed hors d’oeuvres by Richard Catering, Grey Goose vodka cocktails, and beverages by Barefoot Wine & Bubbly and VitaminWater Zero. The partnership between NWS and Poltrona Frau is not new as the brand previously designed the seating for the New World Campus.

The symphony’s last performance of the season “The Emperor and the Queen,” which features music from Beethoven and Rimsky-Korsakov, was appropriate as the group’s future looks bright and powerful.
