Haute Event: The Beautiful Villians Fashion Show by Lorie Lester

What do you get when you mix fashion, skateboarding and food trucks? A mega party at The Stage in the Design District. Last night The Beautiful Villians Fashion Show displayed Miami-based fashion designer Lorie Lester’s latest Spring/Summer 2011 Collection with beats provided by DJ Haitian Hillbilly.

Lester’s latest collection showcased ’70s inspired styles with bright bold colors, crop tops and long flowy skirts–all very Bohemian chic. The accessories paired with Lester’s designs were exclusively from Beautiful People giving an edgy look that was playful and fun.

The garage band Jacuzzi Boys took center stage later on during the night getting people out of their seats and dancing until the early morning hours. Local food truck Ms. Cheezious provided yummy bites to the crowd while Zignum Mezcal and Coruba Rum quenched everyone’s thirst.

The Stage is a large warehouse that was turned into a swanky Miami style bar where the outdoor patio provided more than just a patio. There was also a mini ramp that held a pretty intense skateboarding contest.
