Haute Event: Take a Walk in Her Shoes Charity Event

Tomorrow, May 19 the Community Partnership for Homeless’ Womenade will be hosting the “Take a Walk in Her Shoes” event at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. From 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., guests will be able to enjoy a vintage fashion show properly done by Miami’s very own C. Madeleine’s and stylist Danny Santiago (Sex & the City) along with CBS 4’s news anchor, Shannon Hori to also take part in.

Guests will enjoy a lovely luncheon and a silent auction, with winnings of various items like restaurant and spa gift certificates to beauty products and jewelry. We hear that Sweetcakes Edibles donated 50 mini cupcakes, along with Maria Elena Holguin of Holguin Interiors donating four hours of services.

A raffle will also take place for guests to win items like a tennis bracelet, designer watch and a weekend getaway, including the popular Sunday brunch at The Biltmore Hotel.

Take a Walk in Her Shoes honorees this year are Brenda Nestor Castallano, Nicole Lazano, Jeanna Hernandez, Tracy Wilson Mourning, Electra Spillis and Connie Russell.

Community Partnership for Homeless has been helping people off the streets and giving food, shelter and job training with the help of their partnership with the Miami Dade County Homeless Trust.
