Haute Event: Baltus Collection Honors Nieto Design with its First Award for Excellence
Spain is highly recognized for its forward-thinking designs, be it fashion or architecture. Baltus Collection, a Spanish high-end interiors and furniture design company, congratulated Edward Nieto of Nieto Design by presenting him with its first ever “Baltus Icon Award for Excellence in Design,” at their capacious Miami showroom in the Design District.
More than one hundred guests gathered in support of the honoree chosen for his contribution to interior design in the community and throughout the industry. The celebratory event featured culinary bites via Mare Nostrum—a restaurant designed by Baltus slated to open later this year. Guests admired Nieto’s breadth of work displayed amongst Baltus pieces as they caroused about the gallery and sipped on luxe libations.
