Why he loves New York: Life. Pulse. Character. Color.

Brooklyn-born Edward Tyler Nahem claims an impressive list of accolades that keep him at the top of the New York City’s elite. He is an avid art aficionado dealing in art, stage, and film alike. When he’s not moonlighting as producer to the Tony award-winning musical Fela!, about the Nigerian singer and activist Fela Kuti, or film documentaries like I Bring What I Love, about the Senegalese singer and activist Youssou N’Dour, he’s hard at work as an art dealer with a gallery on 57th Street specializing in 20th Century and contemporary art. Edward is also a self-certified die-hard Yankees fan, a surfer, a yogi, a vegetarian, and a philanthropist with his main focus on Africa.

After gadding the world and New York’s five fine boroughs he finally settled in the Upper East Side where he now calls home.
