Haute Event: Miami Jewish Health Systems Celebrates MJHS Platinum Homecoming Gala

Reliving the memories of their high school homecoming, on March 26, hundreds of Miami’s most influential philanthropists, business people, and civic leaders celebrated Miami Jewish Health Systems’ 70th Anniversary at its Homecoming Gala at Miami’s Four Seasons Hotel. The ongoing theme looked like something straight out of a high-school homecoming, with featured cheerleaders, a marching band, and impromptu performances reminiscent of classic high school musicals such as Happy Days, Grease, and Glee.

Guests enjoyed cocktails with the entertainment being provided by the cheerleaders and marching band, followed by a dinner reception where they got to dance the night away to the music of “Libido.” There were also splurgings of “class rings” and other fine jewelry by David Yurman as well as raffle tickets to win a 2011 Toyota Prius that was generously donated by Toyota South Florida.

Notable guests at the event were MJHS President and CEO, Jeffrey P. Freimark, Hollis Freimark, Arlyn Cyphen, MJHS Chairman of the Board Stephen H. Cyphen, Founders President and MJHS Board Member Jane Kahn Jacobs and Doug Jacobs, Teresa Sarnoff, Commissioner Marc Sarnoff, Adrienne Arsht Center CEO and MJHS Board Member John Richard and wife Lynne Richard, Fredi and Robert Consolo, Nancy and Bob Frehling, Ellen and Louis Wolfson, and Marilyn and Chuck Klenk.
