Haute Event: Daniel and Derek Koch’s Birthday Celebration

On Saturday, April 2, VIPs, industry insiders, and friends gathered for the blow out birthday bash of the dynamic brothers, Daniel and Derek Koch. The two celebrated their birthday during their infamous Day & Night brunch at The Oak Room at the Plaza Hotel, for which tickets (costing at up to $1,000) sold out. With their established Day & Night Saturday brunch at the Oak Room that begins as a laid-back event and finishes with a bang as it turns into a nightclub all before the sun goes down. Why wait till late night to head on over to the hottest nightclub, when you can go during brunch time?

Knowing how to always amaze the crowd, the brothers presented a record-breaking six-liter Methuselah of Bertaud Belieu rosé wine to commemorate their big day. The bottle was the first and largest of its kind. Guests couldn’t help but to marvel and cause a big stir throughout the party wanting to get a good look at the bottle, and of course, get a drink from the gigantic rose vessel. Patrons partied until the early evening to music by DJ Berrie, who toasted to the twins and kept the party going until early evening.
