Dori’s World: Henry Street Settlment’s Spring Dinner Dance

On Wednesday night Ulla Parker, Inga Rubenstein, and I helped our friend Christina Birkmann launch her bag line, Korokum. Then Thursday night, we headed to The Plaza for the sold-out Spring Dinner Dance for Henry Street Settlement. Lesley Schulhof is one of the chairs of the charity, which is dedicated to delivering social services and arts programs to residents of NYC. The event honored Richard Abrons, President of The Louis and Anne Abrons Foundation and Vice Chairman of Henry Street; Ursula Burns, Chairman and CEO of Xerox Corporation, who participated in Henry Street’s programs as a child; and Lauren Bush, who is very involved in FEED projects.

Guests included Marielle and Edmond Safra, Christine Safra, Mariasa Noel Brown, Alina Wong, Debbie Bancroft, John Hennessy, Lara Stolman Watzky, Stephanie LaCava, Zani Gugelmann, and Dani Stahl. The raised a lot of money.

Then were were off to Lavo for Jason Strauss’ birthday with Gregg Bello, Scott Lerner, Jason Pomeranc, Vikram Chatwal, Robbie Kravis, John Mason, Tammy Levy, Noah Tepperberg, and the list goes on. Another wild night in NYC!
