Haute Yachts: Heesen Yachts Unveils First 55-meter Quinta Essentia

On March 11, Heesen Yachts recently launched the YN 14955 MY Quinta Essentia, in Oss, The Netherlands. This is the first yacht in its 55-meter semi-displacement series, and is the largest and one of the most powerful yachts by Heesen to date.

The project managed by  includes two high-powered MTU 20V 4000 M93L diesel engines, a double cabin, a twin cabin, a VIP cabin on the main deck and an owner’s cabin. Able to reach a significant top speed of 24 knots, the Quinta Essentia is a yacht displaying both tasteful luxury and unsurpassable construction.

Naval architects from Van Oossanen Associates created the beautiful, yet efficient hard-chine hull, and Frank Laupman, from Omega Architects designed the pelican beak bow and reverse sheer exuded sophistication. The color choices illuminate the yacht’s utmost elegance and futuristic appeal with a combination of metallic dark red Awlgrip and oyster white paint. Interior designers Ken Freivokh and Michela Reverberi combined efforts to create a modern and intimate interior, including signature bedside tables, an amazing atrium and an stylish staircase, that relates with the owner’s own style.

“I am very pleased with the result of this creative effort that is the perfect synthesis of the owners’ culture, their roots and background and my personal taste and design style,” Reverberi said.

The Quinta Essentia also includes other lavish features, such as gym and spa facilities with a steam room and a massage room on the sun deck, a swimming pool on the main deck filled by a waterfall, and the largest owners’ stateroom found on any of Heesen’s yachts.

The Quinta Essentia will be delivered to its owners at the end of May and will be available for charter through the Monaco office of Nakhimov Yachts.
