Dori’s World: Shopping Benefit Hosted by Americana Manhasset to Support Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation

Yesterday I attended a special event at the home of Denise Rich which was hosted by Americana Manhasset to support the second annual shopping benefit for Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. The foundation raises money to fund research on prevention and treatment of leukemia, lymphoma and related cancers.

The event was hosted by the foundation’s founder, Denise Rich, and her daughter, Daniella Rich Kilstock. This year, the theme was “Love, Peace, Shopping” based on Americana’s spring book, “L.A. Boheme.”

Stores that participated included Dior, Etro, Fendi, Gucci, Hirshleifers, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Prada, Theyskens’ Theory, and Tory Burch, who all donated 25 percent of their sales from the day to Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation.

Guests included Agatha Herrero, Andrea Sanders, Carmella Senci, Caroline Berthet, Deirdre Major, Dhonna Goodale, Dossue Goodman, Fran Gutleber, Inez Weinstein, Alison Rubler, Jim Shi, Lise Evans, Lori Durming, Lucia Hwong Gordon, Marcy Warren, Maria Teresa, Mary Mugrabi,, Lesley Schulhof, Paola Schulhof, and Rebeca Hollender.
