What Made Him Haute: Miami chef Myles Chefetz, owner of Myles Restaurant group, revolutionized the dining scene in South Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood. His popular restaurants, Prime One Twelve, Prime Italian, Nemo, Shoji Sushi, and Big Pink, have been referred to as some of Miami’s top restaurants thanks to their sophisticated charm, and Chefetz’s use of high quality ingredients and stunning plate presentations that are bursting with flavor.  It was those characteristics that led Chefetz to be honored as a Semifinalist for the esteemed James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurateur in 2010.

What Makes Him Haute Now: Chefetz continues to make a name for himself thanks to some A-list diners who frequent his establishments. Recently, Marysol Patton, one of the newest cast members of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Miami, cited two of Chefetz’s restaurants as some of her favorites in the area. A Miami native, Patton shared with Haute Living that the best steakhouse in Miami is Prime One Twelve and the best place to go for sushi is at Shoji Sushi. With the newest addition of Prime Hotel and Lounge to his list of ventures, Chefetz continues to provide Miami with extra helpings of flavor, comfort, and style.
