Try This: Get Behind the Wheel of a Private Jet

Those who love flying private will want to head over to Crystals at CityCenter for a look inside a Cirrus Aircraft SR22T on display there through Jan. 8. This is an opportunity to do everything but take off inside this luxury aircraft.

The interactive exhibit lets you take the controls and experience the advanced avionics on board. The four-set cabin features a “Cirrus Perspective” glass cockpit, where you can simulate a real test-flight and experience operating the SR22T. Two large screens let you try out the plane’s flight controls and navigation system. Cirrus representatives will be on hand Jan. 6-8 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day to answer questions and guide guests through their personalized flight experience.

With 5,000 sold in the past eight years, Cirrus planes are the world’s best-selling single-engine planes. Its aircrafts are recognized for their first-class design, versatility for recreational and business travelers, and the trademark parachute – which can be deployed for the plane itself, not just its passengers.
