Ladies like beer, too, you know. Arizona Girls’ Pint Out and Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale are teaming up to offer a very special brunch at Talavera on Jan. 30, with three delicious mouthwatering courses and beer pairings sure to make for a very fun and memorable meal with all your best brew-loving gals.
The “Cheers! Ladies Beer Brunch” will run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Four Seasons’ first-class Talavera restaurant. Things will get started with a light reception, where you’ll enjoy hors d’oeuvres and tastings of locally crafted beers before sitting down to a wonderful three-course brunch. And of course, with the beers as the stars of the event, a different beer cocktail has been specially paired with each dish, intended to complement and enhance the flavors of your meal. And to explain all the finer points of each brew, as well as answer any questions, a beer expert will be visiting every table in order to expand your knowledge on the subject.
Picture you and your girlfriends tucking into a smoked salmon to start, served with an IPA blini, quail egg and caviar, and accompanied by a Hefeweizen beer cocktail. Next, you’ll enjoy Talavera’s twist on steak and eggs, with a chocolate-stout braised short rib hash and paired with a rich ale and ginger cocktail. But save room for dessert! You’ll definitely want a bite or several of the butterscotch cheesecake with pretzel crust and candied cashews — served alongside a chocolate Guinness cocktail, naturally.
