Jumeirah Appointed to Operate Hotel at Aviation Club
Dubai’s Jumeirah Group has just announced its appointment by Dubai Duty Free to open of another five-store luxury hotel this time located at The Aviation Club, the city’s internationally renowned sports and leisure facility.
Boasting an ultra-modern contemporary decor and a convenient location near the Dubai airport, the new hotel is the perfect spot for leisure and business travelers. Equipped with 293 guest rooms, 2 restaurants, bars and lounges, and a sports and health club.
“We are honoured to have been invited by Dubai Duty Free to operate this exceptional luxury business hotel. It gives Jumeirah additional presence in the heart of Dubai and we look forward to delivering our promise of STAY DIFFERENT at the property when it opens,” said Gerald Lawless, Executive Chairman of Jumeirah Group in a recent press release.
One of several hotels the Jumeirah Group expects to open in 2011, including Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in Dubai, Jumeirah Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel Shanghai, Jumeirah Dhevanafushi and Jumeirah Vitavelli in the Maldives, Jumeirah Frankfurt as well as potential openings in Azerbaijan and Kuwait. The new hotel at The Aviation Club is under development and is expected to be completed later this year.
