Haute New Upper West Side Restaurant: Prime Ko

News | January 27, 2011

The owners of renowned restaurants Prime Grill and Solo have placed another all-kosher restaurant on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. While there are many steak-and-sushi restaurants to choose from, Prime Ko is definitely the best of its kind. This two-story establishment consists of a downstairs sushi lounge and an upstairs dining room, featuring a range of Japanese cuisine from Chef Kame.

Everything off the menu is extremely fresh and delicious. The other night my friend and I enjoyed the Miso Chilean Sea Bass Skewers and the Sashimi Tacos, just to name a few favorites. Prime Ko has a very relatable atmosphere with large tables of families and friends, along with small intimate tables. I was also surprised to see that the kosher wine list had all of my favorite white wines. What truly topped off this night of exceptional sushi was the particularly pleasant and accommodating service.

If you’re looking for a tranquil and sophisticated dining atmosphere, Prime Ko is a great pick. They also host private parties and corporate events.  For more information you can visit the website at primeko.primehospitalityny.com
