Haute Concert Update: Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Lil Wayne, Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks

Some major musical acts are headed toward Phoenix in the upcoming months, and we have the scoop on who, where, when and how to score tickets.

March 26
Lady Gaga
U.S. Airways Center

Lady Gaga last performed here in the Valley on July 31, 2010, but the Monster Ball Tour is rolling back into Phoenix for a follow-up concert. Her little monsters are no doubt going crazy with anticipation, as the popstar took home two Grammy Awards and a whopping eight MTV Video Music Awards last year. Plus, her third major album, “Born This Way,” drops May 23, and the so-named first single from the record will be released Feb. 13.
Tickets can be purchased through livenation.com or ticketmaster.com and range from approximately $49 to $175.

April 8
Janet Jackson
Comerica Theatre

Janet Jackson is bringing her Number Ones Up Close and Personal Tour through the Valley, and she’s chosen a venue that allows her to get, well, up close and personal with her fans. She’s also offering VIP packages at each performance, which include premium seating, a limited-edition autographed set of Janet Jackson World Tour 2011 lithographs, an official souvenir tour program, an exclusive thank you gift from Janet, a $125 gift certificate to the Janet Jackson online store, and more.
Tickets can be purchased through livenation.com, ticketmaster.com or the Comerica Theatre box office, and range from approximately $48 to $78. Visit janetjackson.com for more information on VIP tickets.

April 15
Rod Stewart + Stevie Nicks
U.S. Airways Center

Not one but two rock ‘n’ roll greats will be gracing the stage at the U.S. Airways Center on April 15. Stevie Nicks will be releasing her first album of new material in nearly a decade on May 3, so we can only hope that the crowd will get a preview of what’s yet to come, but according to Live Nation, who is promoting the tour, the performances by both rockers will feature mainly their best-loved hits. And, we’re hoping, at least a duet or two.
Tickets can be purchased through livenation.com, ticketmaster.com or the U.S. Airways Center box office, and range from approximately $49 to $149. (On sale beginning Jan. 28 at 10 a.m.)

April 19
Lil Wayne
U.S. Airways Center

Lil Wayne has put that whole jail time thing behind him and is going on tour, beginning in March. And April 19 he arrives in Phoenix, but he isn’t coming alone. He’s also bringing along BFFs Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Travis Barker and Mix Master Mike to join him for his I Am Music II Tour performance.
Tour dates were announced Jan. 24; ticket information yet to be released.

August 3
Katy Perry
Comerica Theatre

Miss California Dreams herself is coming to Phoenix for a much-anticipated evening of her fun brand of pop and glittery onstage fashions. VIP packages for the concert include premium seats, admittance to a meet-and-greet and photo opp with Katy Perry, pre-show party invitation, an exclusive gift bag and more.
General tickets go on sale Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. at livenation.com and VIP packages went on sale Jan. 24 at http://www.iloveallaccess.com/login_katyperry.php.
