What Made Him Haute: Jorge Perez started selling affordable houses in Little Havana and Homestead. He was so passionate about his work that he decided to start his own real estate business called Related Group. Since starting his own company, Perez has successfully built 55,000 apartments and condos, and currently leads South Florida as a top multi-family developer. Related Group reigns as the largest U.S.’s Hispanic-owned business, a top honor that landed Perez in Times list of the 25 most influential Hispanics in the United States. “Redefining cities and skylines” is the tagline for Perez’s company, and they are doing just that.
What Makes Him Haute Now: With big projects under his belt like the ICON Brickell and the Trump Hotel in Hollywood, Perez is definitely a pioneer in the South Florida real estate market. Today he is teaming up with Donald Trump to build a new marketing campaign for the Trump in Hollywood. Perez had a licensing agreement with Trump and Related Group to build the 40-story luxury condos on the beach in Hollywood. The lavish condos range from $1.3 million to $7 million. The magnificent Trump Hollywood is one of the most eye catching condominiums in South Florida. BH3, Related Group and its lenders at HSBC have negotiated an excellent deal that all parties are pleased with to help bring more revenue to the Trump Hollywood.
