What Made Him Haute: Starting out as a New Kid On The Block everyone knew this face as Marky Mark After his music career came to a close, he made a successful crossover into the acting world.  His claim to fame is his provocative role in “Boogie Nights,” also starring Julianne Moore. More recently, he is known as co-producer of Emmy and Golden Globe nominated shows “Entourage” and “In Treatment,” along with other performances on the silver screen. His most memorable performances include “The Italian Job,” opposite Charlize Theron, and “The Departed,” for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe.

What Makes Him Haute Now: No longer a new kid on the block, this famed actor has been making headlines everywhere. Last year he made his comedic debut opposite Will Ferrel in the hilarious comedy “The Other Guys,” and this year starred in box office success and Golden Globe-nominated “The Fighter,” which scored him a Best Actor Golden Globe nomination.

Wahlberg is also quite the philanthropist, in early December he went on a secret trip to Afghanistan, where he previewed his film and gave away $30,000 in iTunes gift cards to the troops. What’s next for this unstoppable force? Wahlberg said he is planning on making up to three “Entourage” films once the series wraps and is scheduled to star in the upcoming “Uncharted” film based on the video game.
