Diana Kruger is New Face of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Grande Reverso Lady Ultra Thin

On Jan. 18, at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva, Switzerland, Diane Kruger and Jérôme Lambert, the CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre, officially presented the brand’s new Reverso Lady Ultra Thin watch. The timepiece has been classically created to celebrate the 80 birthday of its original creation. The actress first stumbled upon this collaboration with Lambert when she met up with the Swiss Manufacture at the Venice Film Festival in 2007. After expressing her love and lengthy attachment for the watch brand, starting when her mother gave her a Reverso for her 18th birthday, a three-year journey began for her of witnessing the new Grande Reverso Ultra Thin develop into a construction of prestige.

This lovely watch is even more remarkable than the first, legendary for its case that could swivel to shelter the dial from impacts, while revealing its personalized and engraved back. Originally designed for polo playing British Colonial Army Officers, the Reverso soon became an iconic symbol in 1931, being worn and adapted by women of beautiful femininity throughout the ages. During her visit to the SIHH, Kruger stated: “I feel more than honored to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Reverso. For my first at the SIHH, I was proud to reveal the new Grande Reverso Ultra Thin and I invite you to discover this new feminine Reverso.” It’s safe to say that the only thing better than the Reverso’s traditional nobility, and stylish elegance, is that it now shines on the wrist of Diane Kruger.
