For You and the Family: Cayton’s, the signature restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Dove Mountain, will be offering a very special themed à la carte, three-course brunch on both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ($48 per adult and $24 per child.) Cayton’s is known for its exception American comfort cuisine with a Southwestern flair and would be a cozy place to celebrate the season with delicious cuisine and zero fuss over dirty dishes.
For You and Your Significant Other: If the two of you will be in search of a little culinary indulgence on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, you’ll want to make a reservation with CORE Kitchen and Wine Bar. As the signature restaurant of The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, it doesn’t get any better than CORE’s American cuisine prepared and served in the context of the Sonoran Desert. Their à la carte menu, prepared especially for the occasion, will include such highlights as Nantucket bay scallops; black peppered duck breast with sweet potato puree; double lamb chops with Anson Mill’s polenta; sticky toffee pudding (a must!) with date ice cream; and more. ($85 per adult, $40 per child.)
CORE Kitchen and Wine Bar will also offer a three-course à la carte dinner menu on New Year’s Eve beginning at 5 p.m., as well as a four-course à la carte menu on beginning at 8 p.m. Party favors and a champagne toast will be included in the second seating to allow guests to ring in the New Year properly. One thing’s for sure: The last meal of 2011 will certainly be unforgettable for those who elect to spend their evening with CORE Kitchen and Wine Bar.
And, if you and your special someone prefer a more relaxed environment, we suggest heading to Ignite, the resort’s fire-themed lobby, complete with spectacular views of the area, fire pits and a lounge-like atmosphere.
