Haute Event: The Palazzo Brings Its Luxury Style to the Hollywood Style Awards

Las Vegas meets L.A. for one of the most fashionable nights in Hollywood. The Palazzo in Las Vegas transformed the Hollywood Style Awards into a luxury resort Sunday evening. Palazzo bellmen greeted guests as they entered the makeshift version of the Palazzo. In the Azure pool lounge, day beds allowed celebs like Cory Monteith and Emily Blunt to relax with friends before the show. Barneys New York and Christian Louboutin shopping bags were on site to show off high-end fashion boutiques that call the Shoppes at the Palazzo home.

The Palazzo Future Style Icon award was given to Katie Cassidy, who thanked the Palazzo graciously. Presenter Lea Michele expressed her excitement to visit Vegas and posed for pictures throughout the night.

Selena Gomez, Victoria Justice and Drake Bell filled up with candy from Sweet Surrender candy shop. They all shared inSweet Surrender cupcakes and took bags of candy to go as keepsakes of their favorite hotel in Vegas. Gomez made sure to take extra cupcakes on her way out.

Later in the evening, Dave Annable and Odette Yustman enjoyed food from Wolfgang Puck while mingling with friends. Jessica Lowndes and Katie Cassidy made their own drinks at the Fusion Mixology bar. Lowndes reminisced about her 21st birthday that she celebrated at the Palazzo and danced the night away to music provided by the Lavo deejay. “I remember when I sang and opened for Robin Thicke at the Azure pool,” Lowndes said. “That was amazing!”

“I love the Palazzo,” Yustman said. “I just did a bachelorette party there!” Mena Suvari also expressed her love for the hotel, “I love going to dinner there. The restaurants are delicious and the casino is so intimate.”

Other celebrity guests included Lala Vasquez, who mentioned she would be at the Palazzo to ring in the New Year, and “Glee” cast mates Chris Colfer and Jayma Mays showed their support by being present at the event. Celebrities enjoyed all aspects of the Palazzo at the Hollywood Style Awards, especially being treated like royalty.
