Celebrations for the grand opening of the New World Symphony have begun, kicking off with a special evening of music and fun on Dec. 14. Diana and Gene Stearns lent their stunning Key-Biscayne home for the event, letting members of the gala’s host committee, New World Symphony trustees and VIP gala ticket holders gather to mingle, sip cocktails and nibble on appetizers. New World Symphony conducting fellow Teddy Abrams and piano fellow Marnie Hauschildt also contributed, lending their talents for a lovely Piano Four Hands performance that entertained and enthralled guests.
Notable guests included Jennifer and Matthew Buttrick, Susan Kronick and Edward Manno Shumsky, Diane Sepler, Fredda and Richard Levitt, Martha and Bruce Clinton, Marika and Ricardo Glas, Robert and Ana Barlick, Neisen and Ana Kasdin and Lisa and Jeffrey Akin.
