What Made Him Haute: We all learned to love him and listen to his intriguing medical advice on Opera Winfrey’s show five years ago. Ever since then, Dr. Oz has been busy talking health issues on various TV shows, writing books and headlining major magazine publications. Not to mention syndicating and starting his own TV show in September 2010 cleverly titled “The Dr. Oz Show.”

What Makes Him Haute Now: Today Dr. Oz makes our headlines because he recently had a cancer scare and has written a new parenting book. Dr. Mehment Oz recently had a pre-cancerous polyp removed back in August. He successfully recovered from the operation and is doing extremely well.

He has a new book out titled “You: Raising Your Child,” which is the seventh book he has co-authored, from his YOU series collection that he started in 2005. His book series has done tremendously well since then. He has managed to help countless parents who have many questions and few answers on how to raise their child.
