What Made Them Haute: Emmy-winning Sawyer gives us the news and Oscar-winning Nichols provides the entertainment. The duo lives happily on the Upper East Side.

What Makes Them Haute Now: The Rubin Museum of Art has a new exhibit based on Buddhist scripture that “emptiness it form: and form is emptiness.” There are a series of events including  “Talk About Nothing” conversation series to show the viewers of the exhibition that nothing leads to everything and everything leads to nothing. Mike Nichols and his wife attended the conversation series and turned the conversation that was originally about nothing into a conversation first about Nichols’ childhood, then to a conversation on Andy Warhol and finally to a conversation about Sawyer being his soul mate. Sawyer and Nichols were excited to prove the exhibition’s point that something always comes from nothing.
