Breguet Expanding in More Ways Than One

Breguet may be known for its luxurious ways of keeping time, but what about its luxurious ways of fund-raising for charity?

Breguet is currently having a charitable auction for the New York Philharmonic School Partnership Program that helps children acquire an understanding of music while encouraging musical creativity all by encountering symphonic music. Breguet and the New York Philharmonic recently joined in a partnership and Breguet is eager to continue developing their role in American culture. Currently for auction is the Breguet Classique 5157 watch, with all of the proceeds going directly to charity.

With the recent opening of Breguet’s third boutique on Fifth Avenue in New York, Breguet is now taking every opportunity to become a bigger part of American culture. CEO Marc A. Hayek stated that the company is not only in existence to bring exceptional standards to the watchmaking world, but that they also wish to preserve all forms of art and encourage cultural knowledge in any form. Hayek said that Breguet itself is a company full of cultural history and it strives to take part in numerous activities that support the conservation of culture. The charitable auction for the New York Philharmonic is just another step for Breguet to immerse itself in American Culture while aiding in its preservation. The auction for the Breguet Classique 5157 watch will begin on Dec. 31 at 12:01 a.m.and end Jan. 15, 2011, at midnight.
