Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Mark Opening of Setai Fifth Avenue Hotel & Residences

Chairman Davide Bizzi of Bizzi & Partners, Horst Schulze, Deputy Mayor Robert Steel, Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, Consul General of Italy Francesco Maria Taló and other VIPS will be in attendance for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the Setai Fifth Avenue Hotel & Residences this Friday. The ceremony will commemorate the grand opening of the 214-room, 5-star hotel, 184-room luxury condominium residences, Michael White Restaurant Ai Fiori, and a new landmark designed by Gwathmey Siegel & Associates Architects.

The hotel has some of the finest features. It is only two blocks north from the Empire State Building in the heart of New York City. DAS Concepts Inc., a company with international acclaim, collaborated on the design. Principals of DAS include Don Siembieda and Francisco Jove. The hotel itself is a tower that rises to a 60-story height with a facade comprised of classic limestone base, glass and stainless steel, and near many other landmark buildings.

The residential and living amenities include:

  • Public functions include a bar and lounge at ground floor and a second-floor restaurant
  • 11th floor Leisure Lounge with indoor and outdoor space for the exclusive use of  residents
  • 11,500 square foot spa
  • Health club

Hearst Magazines has also partnered with Bizzi & Partners to present the fourth annual “Designers Visions” program. This year’s theme is “Cinema Style” and Hearst titles House Beautiful, Town & Country, and Veranda, have created stylized homes inspired by classic films set in New York City on the 58th floor of the Setai Fifth Avenue Residences.

They include:

  • Phoebe Howard for House BeautifulSomething’s Gotta Give
  • Steven Gambrel for Town&Country Six Degrees of Separation
  • Richard Hallberg for Veranda Wall Street
