Miu Miu Opens Flagship Store

News | November 12, 2010

On Nov. 4, Miu Miu opened its third store in Frankfurt, Germany, on Goethestrasse, the city’s most fashionable shopping destination. This street is filled with luxury brand stores like Rolex, Vertu, Chanel, Versace, Armani and Prada. With this store, Miu Miu is strengthening its presence in Germany and developing its directly owned store network on an international level.

The store was designed by Roberto Baciocchi, world-renowned Italian architect who has also designed Miu Miu stores in Los Angeles, Madrid and New York. The store’s interior has the brand’s traditional gold damask upholstering the walls and the ceilings. The floor is laid in dark marble with big beige carpets. Mirrors are abundant. Lounge areas are cleverly situated, giving the store a “haute” and sophisticated environment.
