Ccompany: LivePlanet

Industry: Film

What Made Him Haute: The A-list actor (named “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2007 by People) settled down in Miami Beach with a former bartender from a South Beach hot spot. The couple has two girls, and Damon is also stepfather to another from his wife’s first marriage, meaning he’s the only male in his household. Maybe that accounts for the action-packed, explosion-riddled flicks he stars in, such as the Bourne series and his latest film, The Green Zone. In addition to being a box-office draw, the Harvard-educated Damon is a liberal activist, philanthropist, and Miami triathlon competitor. He co-founded LivePlanet production company with Ben Affleck in 2000 with the mission of creating media that can be enjoyed across a variety of platforms, and while the company has been “resting” for a bit, in February, it was announced that the two Oscar winners are teaming up again to produce films for Warner Bros.

What Makes Him Haute Now: There’s no denying that the Oscar-winning actor, who lives in Miami Beach, is constantly bringing A-list performances to the big screen. He is set to work on another slew of flicks such as “The Adjustment Bureau,” the Phillip K. Dick derived sci-fi romance with co-star Emily Blunt. Other films the star will grace are “True Grit” by the Coen brothers, a Clint Eastwood thriller “Hereafter” and a Cameron Crowe film “We Bought a Zoo.” The film is an adaptation of the Benjamin Lee memoir about an American who moves to England to operate a zoo. He will star alongside Scarlett Johansson, who will play his wife. Damon will also return to play the guest role of Carol on the show “30 Rock.” Damon and his friend Ben Affleck are currently in talks with Warner Bros. to sign a first-look production deal.

Along with the actor’s busy schedule, Damon and his wife welcomed his fourth child Stella Zavala on Wednesday, Oct. 20, and recently turned the big 4-0.
