CH Group Jewelers: 40 Years and Counting

The esteemed luxury jewelry company CH Group recently celebrated 40 years of business with a special ceremony at its flagship store, Chong Hing Jewelers, in San Gabriel, Calif. The event was followed by a banquet dinner at The Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. To mark the occasion, there was a traditional lion dance, ribbon cutting, and raffle. Many VIP clients, local dignitaries, brand presidents, and partners attended the event along with special guests of honor, NASA’s Lieutenant General Thomas Stafford and CEO of Swatchgroup, Caroline Faivet.

Chairpersons of CH Group, Ronald and Ellen Lee, were presented with honorary certificates from the office of Congresswoman Judy Chu and California State Controller, John Chiang. Other dignitaries who presented special awards to Mr. and Mrs. Lee included 49th District Assembly Member Mike Eng, Mayor of Monterey Park, Anthony Wong, Mayor of Alhambra, Stephen Sham, Mayor Pro Term Betty Tom Chu, Los Angeles Board of Supervisor, Mike Antonovich, Sheriff of Los Angeles Leroy Baca, and Walnut City Council Member Mary Su. Mrs. Lee was also awarded a special gift from President of OMEGA, Gregory Swift.

CH Group was founded in 1970 by Mr. and Mrs. Lee in Los Angeles Chinatown and has grown with the support of the family’s second generation. Over the years, the brand has grown into a true luxury icon. The privately owned company currently operates five flourishing locations throughout California: Chong Hing Jewelers in San Gabriel, LA’s Chinatown, Rowland Heights, and Milpitas, and CH Premier Jewelers in the Westfield Valley Fair Shopping Center in Santa Clara.
